What is Naxpo and how does it work?

Naxpo Inc. is an online, social networking utility that provides artists, from all over the world with a vehicle to showcase and sell their creative talent, collaborate with other artists and connect with talent seekers in hopes of being discovered. Naxpo’s online community of artists and talent-seekers alike provides both parties with a greater opportunity for exposure. Unlike other networking sites that merely enable artists to display their websites in hopes of being arbitrarily found, Naxpo provides its members with access to an extensive network of recognized partners and resources. Whether you’re a painter, independent filmmaker, a model, musician or producer, Naxpo provides its members with an equal and unique opportunity to expand their professional network of contacts through the internet, bridging the gap between you, the global artistic community and those in search of your gift. What does it mean to be a member?

1. Members of Naxpo have the ability to create and modify their profile (visible to other members as well as non-members). The profile page is where one displays their artistic talent to the world, so it’s imperative that ALL WORK IS ORIGINAL! Naxpo highly suggests copyrighting all original work before displaying it to the world on your membership page. It’s not only your responsibility, but in your best interest to protect your intellectual property, before showcasing it to the world. Please reference the copyright resource page for additional copyright information as well as contacts in your geographic location. Naxpo Inc is not liable for the theft of intellectual property.
2. Naxpo provides you with the means to sell or auction your artwork to prospective buyers.
3. As a member, you’re encouraged to invite your friends, family, fans & employers, to vote for you as our featured "Artist of the Month". THERE’S NO REQUIRED MEMBERSHIP AND NO FEE TO VOTE!!! Votes are tallied, the subsequent day following the deadline at the end of each month. Artists with the most votes will be granted priority placement in ascending order in their respective main category and a featured artist spotlight on our homepage. Votes are tallied for the month and overall.
4. Naxpo Inc. is an equal opportunity organization. As such, Naxpo’s members are NOT DISPLAYED IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER, in their respective categories, providing everyone with an equal shot at being seen by talent-seekers as they peruse each category. We believe that success should be measured by the depth of your artistic abilities and that the first letter of your last name shouldn't provide you with an unfair advantage over another artist, also on their journey towards discovery.
5. Naxpo grants its members access to a private, back-end Talent Portal. The portal is your gateway to the entertainment industry, comprised of other artists and talent-seekers, providing you with the ability to list additional details concerning your artistic abilities and experience, unavailable to non-members. Search criteria is customizable, allowing verified partners and leaders in the entertainment industry to refine their search for talent, based on the information submitted by each artist via their hidden criteria box. The greater the detail, the better your chances of being found by talent-seekers.
6. Naxpo's main focus is assisting and protecting its members on their journey towards discovery. If you question the legitimacy of a talent-seeking organization, please provide us with the name of the organization, the contact with which you corresponded and as much pertinent, detail as possible relative to your interaction. Naxpo's team of researchers will investigate their legitimacy through our Verification process (Naxpo V), on your behalf. In addition, an established list of verified partners is available for your reference on our partner page. Remember to exercise your better judgment when corresponding with prospective employers/talent-seekers.

* Integrity is paramount for both artists and talent-seekers, alike. Consequently, the same verification process is also available to our industry members/partners in search of talented artists. Should you question the authenticity of someone’s work, please contact Naxpo V with your concerns. Naxpo Inc. is not a law enforcement agency of the artistic community and as such will not be responsible for policing allegedly plagiarized content, as showcased by our members. If the authenticity of your work is found to be questionable however, the penalties can include cancellation of your account and associated services, up to and including permanent removal of your profile from the site, inevitably tarnishing your reputation in the global, artistic community. Again, PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL WORK IS ORIGINAL, as it’s in your best interests to do so.

1. Members are encouraged to routinely check upcoming events, industry news and contests via the Events & Contests page. Whether you're looking for new band mates, dancers, writers, sculptors, information on upcoming events in your area or are interested in submitting your own contest ideas to Naxpo's board of directors, this is your forum to do so. Please review posting guidelines prior to making any submissions.
2. Naxpo facilitates the growth, protection and promotion of both established and non-established artists by way of our artist profiles. Naxpo Inc. is not a talent agency. We do not initiate, manage or negotiate contracts between artists and talent-seekers, nor do we act as liaisons between the aforementioned parties. We provide our members with a framework of resources and utilities aimed to assist in exposing your gifts to the global, creative community.
